So I think it would only be an advantage for you to go cellular if you didn't have your phone on you for the 2% of the time that you don't have wifi.  One other reason would be if the wifi network you'd be using limits you in some way (web filter, poor speeds, etc.).  That being said, if you aren't sure, go with the cellular version.  It'll cost you a bit more, but you can decide to turn the data on or off whenever you want.  I didn't go with the cellular version because I didn't turn data on for my ipad Air for the 4 years I had it.  For my first iPad I did use data because wifi was less prevalent and tethering wasn't as strong/cost effective.
