Alling Memorial in New Haven is only 3.3 miles from Pepe's. Hit your approach to the 18th green into the parking lot, call in an order, get in your car, pick it and you will be back before your partners know you have left.

Haven't played golf in Stamford for a dozen years, but the 19th Hole bar at Brennan used to serve a decent greasy thin crust bar pie. It was our usual stop after night softball at Scalzi Park.

Sadly, it might actually be that the pizza is better than the course, which used to be pretty ratty (tee mats on 3-4 holes) and stacked to the gills from 6-minute intervals.

The front 9 @ Pepe's in new haven is rather pedestrian, but the back 9 is beautiful and challenging. I know you will like it.

Ask and you shall receive! Hop meadows in Simsbury is about a mile from Little City Pizza which is excellent. There is also a vending machine at the grocery store you will have to pass to get there too.
