20 down 5.9 up right now in West Hartford, Xfinity. I used to have some higher speed package but get by on this with about 10 devices on 2 routers, including xbox.

Ping is how quickly the internet gets to your router.
Ping is network tool that sends a small pack of information to a destination which requests a return packet. It measures the amount of time to make the round trip. In your case it took 13ms to go to the speed test server and return. It comes from sonar which sends an audible ping and measures how long it takes to hit an object and bounce back like every submarine movie you've ever seen.

28 down, 5 up, Optimum, northwest CT. Son recently found a place across town, and he's getting 2x that, with same Optimum.
I have Fios and my Verizon speed test was 99.94 down and 120.45 up.
I'm getting 24 download and about 5 upload with Frontier. Not bad and def is more than enough for me.
Comcast download is 102 and upload is 6.41
