Right this second, about 27 down and 5 up.

But that's at 4:30 in the morning - most of the day, it's about 15/20 and 5.

That's with Optimum Online. My cell phone with ATT usually completely embarrasses Optimum's performance - right now, I'm getting 35 and 22 over LTE.

Mine is usually around 45-50 down and 5 up. I pay Cox $75 a month for 50 mbps. Ridiculously expensive, but there are not many other options available at the moment. Directv needs to roll out their bundles in my area already.

it's probably slower than whatever those online speed tests tell you. your isp may be prioritizing traffic from those speed test websites, making it seem faster than it really is.

    stay woke.

1Gbps up and down with the local fiber company in Minneapolis. Never need the speed. 32GB games download in about 1-2 min $60. I could get 10Gbps but then the price skyrockets. I really should drop to 100 Mbps for $40

We don't plug anything in. We're all wifi. I pay for 75/75 from fios. The last Ookla test I did near the router got 58/63 (upload was a smidge faster).

Usually right around 80/25 with charter. I only pay for 60 but they came in to fix some stuff once and ever since then I get more than I pay for.

I am not a computer whiz at all
How do you people get those speed readings??
I know my connection from Cox is slower than what I pay for - how? - my kids, when they come over says our wifi sucks - that's my only barometer!
    Thanks in advance

I have no idea. It's generally fast, but I haven't done a speed test in a long time and the numbers didn't mean much to me when I did (no real comparison points).

I get 300 down and 30 up here in Seattle. I pay $80/mo with Xfinity. I'm just a little sad because it was previously unlimited bandwidth and they just started the 1tb monthly bandwidth allowance on Nov 1. ($10 additional per 50gb over the 1tb or $50 to continue unlimited)

Go to www.speedtest.com and click on TEST. Wifi speed depends on your router and your devices. You can test your internet speed on each of your devices.
