Just a local story from Baton Rouge Florida shirt at Baton Rouge strip club leads to armed vehicle chase - Campus Sports Net
What started out as a nice, innocent, night at The Penthouse Club, a Baton Rouge strip joint, quickly devolved into a dangerous armed car chase. What happened proved that football rivalries are very much alive in the SEC.
At around, 2:15 in the morning, Everett L. Beauchamp IV was seen repping his Florida Gators shirt at the club which sparked the interest of a six-man bachelor party, also present at the club. One of the members allegedly made a negative comment about Beauchamp’s Gators shirt which prompted Beauchamp to attack the man with a stool, before threatening to get his gun.
The members of the bachelor party, then decided to flee via car with Beauchamp in pursuit. Beauchamp opened fire from his 2013 Ford Raptor on the eastbound Interstate 12 loop, according to police reports, via the Baton Rouge Advocate.
Police eventually found Beauchamp, his blood alcohol level was nearly two-and-a-half times the legal limit, and with a Taurus .45 handgun, shirt still intact. He was charged on six counts of assault by drive-by shooting, one count of aggravated criminal damage to property, DWI, reckless driving, failure to maintain control and one count of illegal use of a weapon.
