OT - hope everyone is safe, dry, and warm.

So I woke up in Storrs expecting white, and was surprised to see nothing. A few little flurries this morning, but about noon it got cranked up and we are in a serious band of snow here now.

Hope everyone further south is doing OK. Looks pretty bad throughout the Atlantic coast area, and I assume southern CT is now in for its share of this storm.

We're getting it pretty heavy right now. Predictions of accumulation have been all over the map. It's New England in January. Snow happens here - usually. We're snug as a bug and ready for whatever. The snow blower and generator have been tested, the wine rack is full and there is a game (sorta') on this afternoon.

So - started slow, but since noon it has been snowing at about an inch per hour here in Storrs - if it doesn't stop soon, I think the team will have to stay in TX overnight. Something I am sure Moriah wouldn't mind!
