I can't even look at the IT Thread Topics without getting nauseous but this is sorta historic at the Masters and I know there are a few golf fan regulars, so:

I guess the defending champ just freed up his weekend, though he needs to be there on Sunday for the green jacket ceremony.

As I was watching Sergio's agony, I couldn't help but think of the scene from Tin Cup where Kevin Costner had 5 balls backup into the water on the 18th hole, also a par 5, despite his caddy pleading with him to layup. The only difference between Sergio and the movie is that Sergio's 12th shot stopped 10 feet from the hole and then he made his put for a 13. In Tin Cup, Costner holed his 12th shot from the fairway for a 12.
