Saw that the schedules have been rearranged,
Killingly vs. Hand had to be moved from the Coast Guard Academy to New Britain's Willow Brook Park after parents complained. The Academy is a military outpost & REAL I.D. licenses are required for admittance to the grounds.
There are now 4 games scheduled for Willow Brook tomorrow. The LL title game of Southington vs. Greenwich has been moved from 2 p.m. to the 7 p.m. time slot.

Editors Note: Real I.D.'s are now the norm for air travel, & as we see, for visitor's admittance to military installations. The additional paperwork involved is a minor annoyance compared to the benefits...

I got my REAL ID a decade ago. It is definitely more than a "minor annoyance" for a lot of people.

Don't drive near New Britain if you can avoid it. All the games are there between Willowbrook and CCSU.

What the heck are we doing playing high school football championships in mid December? With a 7:30 start no less. If you insist on even playing these games cut the season to 8 games and start it a week earlier. Finished the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Let the kids play basketball, hockey or run track and field or just take time to study.

Personally i think we could live without this tournament which is more for parents and politicians than kids. But again if we have it go to 4 teams. If you look at the quarterfinals most games are not just blowouts but embarrassing blowouts! That suggests that there are not 8 teams in each grouping (don’t get me started on the # of groupings.).
