Rumors around Washington that Joseph was hired because they have little money for a replacement because they are going to pay Lonergan close to the full remaining amount of his contract to settle the litigation. That having been said Joseph did a credible job this year. Especially for a guy 4 years removed from having to take the sandwich orders for the bus trips back after games.
