I've always wondered what the process was for going after transfers, once someone announces that they are leaving a program. I'm sure there are NCAA regulations and such, but the thing that made me think about it today was the following story about RB Braylon Heard leaving Nebraska:

This kid was a highly recruited player (notice Cincy and PSU on his offer lists from Rivals....hint, hint, for Coach Weist and Coach Buggs):

I'm guessing he would only have 2 years of eligibility left after having to sit one out, but I'm wondering if this would be someone that our coaching staff could go after to improve our RB stables in two years. Just thinking out loud, but anyone please feel free to chime in with comments...

Good find but he wants to play closer to his hometown of Youngstown. I highly doubt we get him due to that fact.

Youngstown? He can go to UA and be the next in line to be a proud Akron Zip. Oh wait, proud Zips play soccer. Football sucks.
