11. I assume you mean Mia Farrow, the daughter of Maureen O'Sullivan, who played Jane in the early Tarzan movies.

1 - These United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent states. From the Declaration of Independence, I'm sure.
2 - American Bandstand?
3 - long way to Tipperary - heard the tune several times over the 4th.
7 - I'll guess Bolivia
9 - Its a (large) sandstorm. We have them in Arizona, especially during Monsoon. Not as common in Tucson area as further north and Phoenix. Not to be confused with a hoodoo, which we also have.
12. Charleston, I think. A few nice bridges, if I'm right. If I'm wrong, maybe its Savannah.

4..universally acknowledged. . . in want of a wife. Jane Austen, beginning of Pride and Prejudice. (I would urge anyone who hasn't seen it to watch the 1995(?) BBC adaptation with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. It is IMO the best dramatization of a book ever made.)

7..Bolivia?

10..Solvent, binder, pigment

5. I'm sure at some point Tim the toolman Taylor and Al Borland put a 50 cc Stihl engine on a spray painter. That would make painting fun.

I can never get enough of that flirtatious eye contact scene when Elizabeth stands behind the piano and shares a knowing glance of confidence and admiration with Mr Darcy. I also like the scene of the accepted proposal; In fact, they are quite the opposite.

Those of you guided by Occam know I had to put up with a lengthy computer fix.

1..You can't get more precise than Knights.

2..Lots of hipsters in awe of Dick Clark, but it's SVCnerd who is on target.

3..Whether a long way or a long, long way, Pinot gathers his hikers.

4..Lady Jane has you in tune, VAUC, Game & Big.

5..A long running, ubiquitous ad: Painting's fun with Cook and Dunn.
The last thing you want to find in your can would be Pitts.

6..Pinot & VAUC find the Nazi rings their bells.

7..Rocket comes up with Venezuela, but hold your breath, cause I'm sure SVC has an argument coming.

8..I have no information that it was yellow or had polka dots.

9..I'll feature Knights, who's still trying to get the particles out of his mouth.

10..Big and SVC not only remember pigment & binder but also the other stuff.

11..Rbny maintains his eye for the ladies, whether deceased or not.

12..Game? "To FORM the Atlantic Ocean. Boy, talk about hyperbole.

13..To work regularly with clay plant pots is to rub off algae on the thumb.

I have other computer stuff to work on, so give me until Saturday for Part B.

I have seen it 3x. I agree it is a sterling work of art. The Lady Catherine in the garden scene is a keeper.

Only three times? :) The Lady Catherine-Elizabeth confrontation in the small little garden is, indeed, a gem. And what say Lady Catherine, did she call to deny her consent?
