1. "Where or When," or maybe it's titled "I Can't Remember Where or When".
5. His painting of a skull just sold at auction for well over $100 million (I forget the exact figure). I believe it set a new auction record for a painting by an American artist.

3…Swaziland but I forgot the dude’s name.

4…Ginni Rometty is the head honcho at IBM as in president, CEO, and Chairman of the board. Her salary is in question. IBM says it is $33M others say it is much higher. I guess once again a woman is being low balled relative to income. Considering the ludicrous pay packages for certain male executive $33M is chicken feed.

5....Jean-Michel Basquiat's Skull sold for $110M making it the highest price for an American artist’s painting. It is a lot of money for faux art … ugly at that.

7…Surgeon General for Pres. Ronald Reagan

10..Eruption of Mount St. Helens

12..Marvin and Eastwood both were married to Seberg. Both were prospectors in the California gold rush. It is a musical comedy! Marvin and Eastwood singing!? Yikes! It is a favorite of my wife’s. We have seen many times. I think she liked “if a man can have two wives why can’t a woman have two husbands?” Personally, I liked the mining community’s marriage contract which states her husband has exclusive rights to "all of his wife’s mineral resources."

13..John McCain

3. Gabon
7. Former Surgeon General; Carter Administration
7. former Attorney General; Reagan Administration
9. Racial segregation in public schools based on separate but equal that was not, in fact, a reality and thus, unconstitutional.
10. Mt Saint Helens, a previously dormant volcano, erupted causing devastating death and destruction.
11. Maya Moore and Lorin Dixon(I read the book.:) However, it shames me to admit that it took a while to come up with Ms Dixon's first name:mad:)
13. Susan Collins - Maine

6. .not sure about composer but....Ethel Merlin.
7. Surgeon General under Reagan.
8. Bebe Neuwerth played in both shows.
9. Separate but equal is inherently unequal.
10. I think Mt. Saint Helens erupted/exploded, most likely. I feel like I saw a tv movie or something when I was five or six.
12. This is the musical Paint Your Wagon. A Mormon traveling through a prospecting puts one of his wives up for public auction. Crusty prospector Marvin submits the highest bid in a drunken stupor. His more clean cut Partner is Clint Eastwood from Michigan, I think, who talks to trees unsuccessfully. The lady ends up with Partner ("Sylvester") when Marvin leaves following his wandering star.
13. Susan Collins arguably, but an argument could be made for McCain or others?

1..Now rbny knows the questions Where of When needs answering, but he's too befuddled to get beyond that. C'mon you mugs, give us the first line. First word is "It".

2..Hermitage

3..SVC is on the money with Swaziland. Remember Haile Selassie is dead.

4..But you don't know why she's in the news, do you? It has to do with posted compensation for all CEOs.

5..Rbny & SVC wish they could draw a straight line. They'd retire.

6..Se ed4 or Big. It does not matter to them which one you choose.

7..The Game Quintet nails the guy who cluttered up your cigarette packs.

8..As always, I put a premium on relevant detail. That's K9.

9..But then she slips here. Ya gotta say, "separate but equal isn't"

10..Pinot's got his own quintet here, as the lady blew her top.

11..And VAUC, it shames the others that you are alone in your response.

12..Some colorful replies here. Worth admiration.

13..The guys you mention do grouse a lot, but don't follow through on votes.
"Lady of Maine I adore you." Eg, most recently her vote vs. Betty Devos. Credit to VAUC & Game

Fix your gaze and your treatment of 1 & 2, and I trouble you no more.

And when did Tennessee become a city anyway?

Well the Hermitage is near Nashville - I went a long time ago and seems like we ate at a breakfast place before or afterwards (something about a smorgasbord), but I couldn't really be sure about the formal city. You caught me hedging.
