Goetz claims, basically, pro-active self-defense, as he says he felt threatened. Victims claim there was no threat, Goetz just wanted to shoot them because of his racist attitude.

2 - Sherman. Terms offered Johnston were deemed to lenient and were changed to match those offered Lee by Grant. (and yes, it is Johnston, not Johnson - the CSA had two of them, not related, Albert S Johnston, the other, was killed at Shiloh and was considered the much better general).
3 - The Hague
8 - Marcus Aurelieus, I had to do a report on him in school but have forgotten virtually everything else about him.

7..While Edward R. Murrow was a respected broadcaster and an idol of Pinot, please tell the silly ol' bear that the OK City building isn't named after Edward.

8.. Don't fret, Knights, it will all come back to you, when you are wondering where you misplaced your IRS refund..
And VAUC, how could a Chicago suburb be a Roman Emperor. Alex, dun him a thousand bucks.

When one's knowledge of Roman history is confined to popular entertainment and very little else is known. Cicero was a wild guess, obviously wrong:(.

1..Mr Methuselah Geordi, who was Joan's first husband, knows Jim Backus was next.

2..Yup, it was Sherman, as the war mongerers Knights and Pinot gleefully celebrate.

3..It's in The Hague, at least until the dikes fail from rising seas and the VAUC Foursome floats away.

4..Pinot and VAUC, who have never paid their fair share, cite tax reform.

5..Since he reads no other part of the newspaper, Big well knows all things Hagar.

6..Applause for SVC, as I doubt 98% of Americans know about this holocaust. Of course, the 98% know more about the Kardashians than does SVC.

7..Yes, to Alfred P. Murrah, but I wish Pinot had been correct, cause at least I know who Edward R. Murrow was, and I really know nothing about Alfred.

8..I think the Fifth Dimension would have been wise to add "Marcus Aurelius" in the stanza with "Age of Aquarius". Nice compatible meter, don't you think?

9..A trio of you have good detail. The one year sentence for gun carrying was inevitable under NY law, but he was not prosecuted for the shootings.

10..The easternmost of western Europe. Take it gang.

11..SVC is right. While a half dozen artists have recorded this, youtube does not feature the Andrews, so here's the McGuire Sisters' version.

12..Thank you VAUC, and we all hope your cells achieve Immortality.

13..Any question you have about 6 degrees of separation, just ask Cajun.
