I would have given my left pinky and one of my kidneys to have seen Ernie Banks play in a World Series. President Nixon listed him as his all time favorite shortstop. Unfortunately, I only saw him play first base. Anyone here fortunate enough to have seen Banks play shortstop? His arm? Range? Fielding? Could he turn a double play? Was he a leader on the field?

6..Somewhere other than the old Scotland.

12..So there's Catherine, cruising down the river, inspecting her various "communities".

I remember the Travolta movie and the wings but it must have sucked so bad that I forgot the name.

The name of the movie is "Michael", and it's got some good moments and good lines. My favorite is "I'm not That kind of Angel".

So, what have you been up to?

1..VTC provides the Townsend Revenue Acts. K9 is into short forms.

2..Pinot + 3 are up on their moon features--Sea of Tranquility.

3..Post hint, you recognize Michael McDonald, singing ee-i-ee-i-o.

4..I can always depend on crown to watch PBS--Inspector Morse.

5..Several with various ways of storm-defining. See above.

6..Well, if it's not the "old" Scotland, it must be the new one.

7.. Well, VAUC, is that your final answer? No? OK, then is this your final answer? No. Well, Gosh darn what is your bloody
answer? Rbny & geordi also give us Bobby Richardson, but geordi does not like to be reminded of that time in his life.
By the way, VAUC, why would you think Nixon gives credence to any position?

8..Geordi + 3 give us Jacques Cousteau.

9..K9, VTC & geordi put Jefferson in his southernmost home.

10..1867 is right on the nose. YOU ARE THERE, Edward R. Murrow. (Whoops, the ed is ed4).

11..Rbny & geordi sight her along the Rhine.

12..Come on, you must have heard of Potemkin Villages, phony fronts put up along the river to fool the empress.

13..K9 & VAUC ask "Have You Seen Her?" by the Chi-Lites. (See, K9, you don't REALLY need '80's music. Not that I'm saying you are old.)

Merely to underscore the fact that I always knew of Ernie Banks as a first baseman having never seen him play the #6 position.
