OT - Gale Sayers

Didn't see a thread on him. News that he has dementia (only a few years my senior) the other day is sad and strange because I mentioned him to a friend just the other day. He was my favorite running back to watch. One of those totally fluid athletes. Boy his acceleration is something isn't it? He could stop on a dime and then seemingly go full stride in an instant. Good video, thanks for posting.

The only reason I knew about his dementia was a mention in a story about Dwight Clark. And YouTube is a treasure chest of great videos.

Sayers was smoother, much more fluid than Sanders. Sander was more fast twitch, quick. Both were incredible
