UConn would be near the bottom in terms of enrollment within the B1G. That said, not many schools can approach most of the B1G’s enrollment figures. If that was key factor in their expansion plans, the B1G could only look a handful of schools, such as Arizona State, Florida, Central Florida, South Florida, Texas, and Texas A&M.
On the other hand, UConn would right in the middle of ACC schools in terms of enrollment.
