hey all,

I got some topsoil today for a raised bed and have about 1/4 of a yard left and no use for it. I’m in greater Hartford and would rather someone use it than just chuck it in my woods. It’s in my truck and I’m happy to drop it off if anyone wants it. It’s definitey enough for a small garden bed

Damn could have used this about two weeks ago when I built some raised vegetable gardens! No truck so I loaded over 20 bags into my car lol.

Drive to a cemetery late night and dump it in an open plot. Rake it up into a body sized mound, then leave.

I would have taken it but I’ve already planted. I hope this will be a prosperous year for Phil Farms!

Trying my best. We've got some carrots, arugula, and cucumbers that are about a month in and looking great. Just today we've planted three heirloom tomato starters, Blacktail Mountain watermelon, summer squash, and chives. You got anything good this year?

Nothing too interesting. Tomatoes, peppers, squash, corn, pumpkins and watermelons. I’ve had chives for years, I wouldn’t put them in a raised bed, get them established somewhere else since they are perennial. The only thing I’ve eaten so far are a bunch of strawberries.

I can vouch for Bob’s melons. They are quite spectacular.
