This morning I was listening to 'The First Team' on Sirius XM 84 College Sports Radio and they were talking about Cincy/Memphis and then started talking about AAC football. They both agreed the AAC was much closer to the ACC than the group of 5 and were discussing the "team of the future" in the G5 and specifically mentioned Temple, Memphis, and Houston. Good to see some solid PR for the conference and some respect. The ACC comment was really encouraging, hoping that the TV deal can pick up because of it!

Later on Jack Arude agreed with a caller that there was some longer-term realignment strategy involved in the selection of UConn and Cincy to be considered P5 equivalent OOC opponents for the B1G. Arude is clueless about that but if he wants to start such a rumor I'm good with it.

Some surprisingly, good quality teams - Houston, Temple, Navy, Cincy and Memphis. UConn of course is already superior P5 material. Good for the Frankenconference, It just might emerge as very competitive and viable ....In the meantime, lets get the flock out and go B1G..
