The first thing I thought of when I saw Duck Donuts:

I recently found a place in Denver called Fractured Prune donunts where they make them while you wait and you choose what coatings you want on them. Fresh, hot custom Donuts. Very good. They started out in Ocean City MD and are now franchised in AZ and CO. The name has nothing to do with Prunes. It's the nick name of the founder. I think her name was Prudence. Worth checking out if you see one. Menus
