Cincy is at #8. They may get the opportunity to prove they belong in the playoffs. If I had to guess though they'll finish at a distant number 6 to the top 5 if they go undefeated.

I would guess it's more about the same teams at the top every year.

I do think being ranked 8 gives Cincy a real shot at the playoffs. Of course....this isn't the actual playoff rankings, but it gives you good insight that they are nationally respected.

Wait till his head clears up in Janauary from a 5-month bender only to find out a way overly rated ND team made it in to the FBS playoffs and got trounced in the semifinals.

Miami was always ranked highly even when they were not good. Georgia is alway going to win a national championship except that they don’t. Georgia won some too though the last one was 1980.

Miami won 5 National Championships between 1983 & 2001. Georgia hasn't won in over 40 years.
