I know he is the real "old skool' and the best in TV. Him and Don Cornelius were pioneers leading to MTV. Never heard anything bad about him, and now I don't care to know.

He started with black and white TV and made the transition to color easily. Another legend and great one gone. So glad I knew of his work and witness his productions.

Makes you wonder who's left.

(Who's Richard Clark????)

Pretty sure he was dead at 72 but they saw Weekend at Bernies and decided they could keep dragging him out for a while. Musta finally lost an arm or something.

I thought he was 82 twenty years ago.

A "great one"? He was a businessman who was comfortable on TV. Nothing more.
