If you're missing this (and you probably are), you're missing one of the best shooting displays I've ever seen. Creighton has buried 11 of their first 13 three's (they started out 9 of 9) and lead 35-16. This kid Ethan Wragge is 7 of 7 from downtown and he scored 21 points in about 6 minutes. It's just absurd.

It's going to be interesting to see if they can hang on once they come crashing back to earth.

Not on TV out here but Wragge is a 3 PT specialist...need to force hi to out it on the floor. Surprised at the result, given that it is at Nova. Game is not over yet though.

I'm watching and wow!!!!!!!!!! They look pretty confident. Drive and kick and 3

I was at the UMass-Lowell-Hartford game today. UH had a kid score 18 in the opening 7 minutes, on his way to 10 threes made on the day.

Obviously, not as impressive as what Wragge is doing against a Top 5 team.

Nova just went on their inevitable 16-3 run, and this game continues to be entertaining. 50-35 with a couple minutes left in the half.

Creighton lost big to Providence last week, BTW.

The most amazing thing to me is that he keeps getting open. Of course, he buried one from about six feet behind the three point line, but I'm shocked at how little resistance Villanova is providing.

I admittedly haven't paid much attention to them, but when did Nova get good? They didn't really add anyone of note from a fairly mediocre team last year and other than Pinkston, none of them seemed like big time players.

Remember, they handled us fairly easily at UConn last year with the same cast of players,....plus they added a good freshman guard/wing. Archidiacono is actually shooting worse this year than last. Pinkston gives them a solid inside scorer.

They basically became the team we wanted UConn to become. A lot of three/four guard lineups, tough defense (though not tonight, apparently), and a bunch of guys who can catch fire on any given night.

Creighton is a lot of fun to watch. They run great stuff, play smart, and are putting on a clinic. Up 29 now.

If we were ranked 4 and this happened, we would be out of the top 25 next ranking.

Ohio State also losing by ten at Nebraska...roughly equivalent to out Houston loss

OSU has lost 4 in a row now. They had lost 3 in a row and were still ranked. How, no idea? They win their next one later this weekend they may still be ranked next week. Polls are silly sometimes.

The love OSU gets from the pollsters is kind of baffling. They haven't beaten anybody all season.

10-8 Marquette or 11-7 ND may be their best wins.

Their losses (Nebraska aside) aren't horrible. MSU is very good, Iowa is decent and Minnesota is also OK. Still three losses in a row should drop any team from the top 25 unless they are all to highly ranked teams. Nebraska loss should drop them, but if they beat Illinois I think they are 24-25 for no good reason.

Congratulations to Aaron Craft for scoring in double figures for the first time in 2014.

Creighton ended up hitting 21 3"s: that is 21 3 pt. shots as in 63 points. Wow!

It's the intangibles! And the nuances and subtleties. And the unmeasurables. It's the subtle intangible nuances you can't measure. And the measures you can't tang.

That's "So Much GRIT"

Holy crap. There's nothing Nova could have done. They were shooting lights out and most of their shots made were beyond the NBA 3 point line. I was expecting one of the guys do a Larry Bird crooked finger impersonation after making a few of those.

I was also amazed by how far behind the NBA line they were drilling them. Wragge came into today with fewer than five 2-PT FGA this season.

Might wanna get a hand in his face out there. Not a tough scouting report, Jay.
