I am a huge Serena fan and I hope this brings her a sense of peace in her personal and professional life. Being happy off the court can go either way for on-court performance. Some players are better on the court when they are having personal struggles because it is is their escape from the real world, which is what Steffi Graf said it was for her when her father was going through all of his legal troubles due to tax evasion charges. And oddly enough Andre Agassi was exactly the opposite when he was with Brooke Shields, which was period when his professional career suffered.
