What a way to start off 2016 I just wanted to have fun, but it was so much more than that. I participated in The Polar Plunge, sponsored by the Coney Island Polar Bear Club. The plunge raises money to send sick children and their families to Camp Sunhine in Maine each summer (https://www.campsunshine.org/ ) .Getting to talk to so many people, who were all there for a great cause was wonderful. Then hearing all the people lined up on the beach cheering those of us who took the plunge was such an adrenaline rush. I hope everyone involved has a spectacular 2016. With such positive vibes and energy, I welcomed in 2016. I was not sure if that was The ICEBEAR in my photo or not but if it was and he gets to dress up then next time I will be wearing my wig.
