I miss Mark Haines too, was thinking about this morning when Cramer made a joke about how Siri should serve him when he wakes up. So unprofessional & about himself. So often wrong. I miss Erin Burnett, too. Seemed very sweet and easy on the eyes obviously.
CNBC had the best coverage of 9/11 for the first hour with Mark Haines and Surfer Joe Kernan.
Kernan was openly speculating terrorism before the second plane hit: Dan Rather was 30 minutes late waiting on a Reuters or AP report rather than add commentary or speculate.
It was likely their finast 45 minutes: they had the best initial footage and weren't constrained by the usual journalistic rules (or caution).
The cool thing about Cramer: he's always right after the fact. He rarely misses a call in hindsight. He's perfected the art of hyping a stock that made a huge move and convincing people they should be privileged to see the chart with Jim Cramer. Calling for NetFlix at $300 was priceless. Tonight he'll be hyping Apple and Google.
