From a letter in today's Hartford Courant titled Xavier Students Showed True Patriotism.
This past Friday at opening night of Xavier High School's football season in Middletown, the recording of the national anthem malfunctioned.
So, the Xavier student section voluntarily stood and sang the national anthem! With all the disrespect for the flag going around this is a breath of fresh air. Kudos to the students!
