Whatsup with that team? Not only did they blow the lead but they blew it within a quarter. It looks like father has caught up with Pierce and he looks dead in the 4th quarter of games. KG is old but still productive for his age. Rondo to me looks like he would rather play a fast break game then a full court game but cant because of the old guys on the team. Jason Terry has looked awful.

On Sunday they face a Miami Heat team that looks like they have gotten it together. Luckily for the Celtics the East is weak and still can make a run, they usually do get off to slow starts but it just gets harder and harder to overcome these slow starts as they get older.

It looks like Ray made the right choice, knowing that he is an older guy and is sorrounded by 2 stars in their prime, rather then play with 2 guys past their prime and a pg who wont give him the ball. Rondo looks to me like a stat padder, and Lebron is the most unselfish super-star he can get an easy 25 because hes just that good and get 10 assists if Ray is open he will get him the ball every time.

Interesting you mention Rondo's "stat padding" tendencies. From a statistical standpoint there are few players in the league better than he is, but I'm just not nearly as impressed with him when I watch the games as I am with the other great players in the league. Don't get me wrong, he's a great player, it just seems like he racks up a lot of assists as a product of having the ball in his hands so damn much. He's also not a great defender, and you can't run the offense through him in crunch-time because his jump shot is still wildy inconsistent. Hard to imagine this Celtic team being three under .500 with Chris Paul running the show.

It's not Rondo from what I've seen it's the fact that Pierce still think's he's Pierce and it ain't close...........if they can get anything at all from a contender this year they need to............too many "mid-sized, mid-talented" guys on the team..........Lee, Green, Barboza, Bass, Terry etc etc.......Garnett is old but still pretty solid so he and Rondo have the only consistent games for now.

Terry vs Ray.....how are other C's fans feeling about this?

I pretty much stopped caring about the C's when KG et al starting talking smack about Ray. It was never really Terry vs Ray. The C's needed to put the money they would have spent on Ray toward getting some younger talent. It was good for the C's and good for Ray. Good for Ray because he has a legit shot at winning a championship. The C's roster consists of two over-the-hill hall of famers, a ball hog and 12 or so role players. That's a recipe for a .500 club. It's time to rebuild.

If Rose had stayed healthy last year, the Celtics would've faced the Bulls in the second round and been eliminated. Instead, they got to the conference finals, played the Heat tough, and got a false sense of how good they really are. I agree, they should've started to rebuild.

Now the only guy they have that is of any value is Rondo, and I don't think they're going to want to trade him any time soon.

You know what, I bet this loss was Ray's fault somehow, maybe Rondo was thinking about him and got upset.

They drafted Fab Melo. I put that up there with drafting Acie Law

Acie Earl. Not Law. Fab was a complete waste of a pick
