My mother was my interpreter, but she can't read French anymore. I can usually pick out the parents name, but can't with this one.

If you can read French, please tell me what it says.

Thanks

Sent a copy to my wife who knows some French speaking people. Hope they can interpret it for you.

Well Tom it says:

I said a hip hop,
The hippie, the hippie,
To the hip, hip hop, and you don't stop, a rock it
To the bang bang boogie, say, up jump the boogie,
To the rhythm of the boogie, the beat.
Now, what you hear is not a test - I'm rappin' to the beat,
And me, the groove, and my friends are gonna try to move your feet.
See, I am Wonder Mike, and I'd like to say hello,
To the black, to the white, the red and the brown,
The purple and yellow. But first, I gotta
Bang bang, the boogie to the boogie,
Say up jump the boogie to the bang bang boogie,
Let's rock, you don't stop,
Rock the rhythm that'll make your body rock.
Well so far you've heard my voice but I brought two friends along,
And the next on the mic is my man Hank,
C'mon, Hank, sing that song!

Love,

Delores

@temery my wife believes she can translate this for you but she cannot read the script. Can you copy the script in print form and post for me to forward? Also she wants to know how soon you need this once she gets the document.

The copy is from the Drouin records online at ancestry. The screen capture is the only copy I know of.

If you are willing to go back to that site and try to print out the lettering my wife will be willing to translate it for you. But I know better than to ask her to do the first part for you.

My wife's first language is French, she can't make out the small print and bad cursive writing. I doubt I could read that if it was in English.
