Got to visit Morrison's grave in Paris two years ago which seems very incongruous with his life, and I don't know between his place and Piaf's who had the biggest crowd, but there were a few more young women at Morrison's getting emotional over his bust. Those wonderful memories of 1970 with a Farfisa Transistor Organ learning Light My Fire by ear. What would bong parties be without The Doors? Or Coppola's "Apocalypse Now" without the Doors psychedelic opening number The End? That whole Eddie and the Cruisers thing without Jim Morrison?
