It’s an interesting take on the value of really spreading the floor, and players that can hit from well beyond the arc. He mentions Kyrie, Steph Curry and Kemba as guys you must guard several feet beyond the arc. If you extrapolate this to the college game it makes even more sense, since the shot is so much closer.
