I'm stuck in Boston for this Thursday nite's game against Temple. Any recommendations for a place to go where I can be sure they'll have this game on. Thanks.

Where are you staying? I'll think of something near where you are staying. There really aren't many good sports bars in Boston but it's on ESPN2 so I imagine it will be pretty easy for most bars to have it on.

I'm in Brookline, but have a car and willing to travel.

The Stadium in Southie used to be my go to sports bar when I lived there. It shouldn't be hard to find the game anywhere though since neither the Celtics or Bruins are playing Thursday.

Go to any bar and ask them to put the game on. If you're in Brookline maybe check out Coolidge Corner Clubhouse or find a bar in Allston or Fenway.

Neither the Bruins nor the Celtics are playing tomorrow night, so you should be able to request ESPN 2 at almost any bar without a fight.

Jerry Remy's right near Fenway Park at 1265 Boylston Street is a good place to watch a game. Lots of TVs and it's very big so you can get a seat no problem and get your own TV changed to the game. - http://jerryremys.com/fenway/

Cask 'n Flagon right next to Fenway Park at 62 Brookline Avenue has plenty of TVs and is close to Brookline also - http://www.casknflagon.com/

Champions Sports Bar at 110 Huntington Avenue in the Back Bay is a decent sports bar with good beer and lots of TVs - http://championsboston.com/

McGreevy's at 911 Boylston Street in the Back Bay also has lots of TVs. They call themselves a sports bar but it's more of an Irish Pub to me. - http://www.mcgreevysboston.com/

There are a bunch of places near the TD Garden like The Fours and Boston Beer Works, both on Canal Street, if you want to venture down there.

Since it's on ESPN2 and the Bruins and Celtics aren't playing I don't see how you'll have any problem convincing them to put the UConn game on.

thanks for the info. I've got major mojo going whenever I watch the games, as opposed to going, and i don't want to mess up the streak. Like the man said - "never mess with a winning streak."
