Put me on the list to chase down - I got my thanksgiving day bird this past spring the third day of the season. It dressed out at 17lbs, which likely put it in the 21-23lb category for live weight.

August it's going to be real tasty.

Vegans believe in catch and release - for houseflies. That's insane.

That may be true of tofu but tempeh can pass for chicken if done right. I know a vegetarian place that does a good job with buffalo style "tempeh" fingers.

D'Oh? Where did you get this from, the vegan for dummies book?

In Indiana, they bread and fry cows brains and pour gravy over them, then slip them inside two pieces of white bread. But that's a weird practice too.

roadhouse is legit. don't mean to hop in this thread 2 yrs late. that said i am quite partial to houlihan's which i believe to be critically underrated

in the era 2007-14 my answer would be wild wings but they stink nowadays

Moe’s is the only chain I consistently eat at. Free chips and salsa easily give it the nod over Chipotle.

In all seriousness though if you are in a bind and need a quick bite Cumberland Farms has some stuff that is definitely edible in the sandwich/pizza genre.

Agree 100% on Houlihan's. I have one near me in the near south suburbs of Pittsburgh. We have some pretty good independent restaurants here, but Houlihan's is right there on the 2nd tier of solid, interesting and tasty - and with a great bar and decent prices.

Agree 0% on TX Roadhouse as noted above thread. Just chew some gum while pouring Morton's down your gullet. Same basic effect.

Outback is the Burger King to Texas roadhouses Arby’s.

Same restaurant categories but an absolute demolishing on food quality
