Is it just me, or does the voice-over for the Berkshire Bank's ad during SNY's broadcasts of Husky wcbb games sound a lot like Geno? Three possibilities: 1. Yes, and they count on viewers to recognize him without having to pay the big bucks an endorsement or filmed plug would cost. 2. No, but they hired somebody who sounds a lot like Geno (Philly guy?) so viewers would think it was. 3. None of the above, just a coincidence.
Does anybody happen to know? Just curious. While I love the CPTV viewer-supported approach, I have to say, I'm finding the ads supporting SNY's UConn programming less irritating. Though endless repetition does grate. More advertisers needed I guess.
