I didn't know he was that young. I thought the radio called him a "long time" SID so I assumed he was older. My condolences to his family, friends and the BC fanbase.

Short story is he's been battling ALS for the past three years. Very sad story, from what I understand he was extraordinarily well respected in the community of athletic communications. Best to his family and friends.

Thanks BC1978 for the read. Makes it even sadder, but his legacy will live on in the Chris Herrens of the world whose lives he made a lasting impact on.
