A game of sixth graders no less.
College hoops is not blameless when something like this happens. It did not used to be the case that coaches were allowed to "work" referees for the entire game, every game. And when people see that behavior, they emulate it and it gets out of control.
If college basketball had anything at all to do with colleges and higher education, and not just pleasing alumni and donations and money, people would see something like this and start ordering coaches to spend a larger part of the game in their seats with their mouths shut, or they'd get T'd up and then ejected. Basketball would certainly survive such a rules interpretation change.
Unfortunately, that boat has already sailed.
