We have highway access too. We are just nowhere near campus.

(so does Temple for that matter lol)

Something smells funny with Baylor. Rare that a school sucks as hard as they have since well, forever and then suddenly becomes good in football and hoops. Doesn't pass the smell test.

I remember after the beating we gave them in Waco their fanbase was ready to run Briles out of town Koresh style.

It's easy. All they had to do was bring in some guy who's 7 feet tall with a huge wingspan and, oh wait, sorry, that was Brittney Greiner.

Nothing smells. You have a coach who was a decent recruiter, and a player that led his team to victories over some standard bearers of the Big 12, brought national attention to the team, changed national perception of team and program, and got the Heisman.

What student athlete who would typically turn their nose at Baylor, wouldn't now consider them as an exciting and legitimate program that can compete with the some of the best, possibly be in contention for titles, and have a chance to play earlier (than with other Big 12 teams) and be noticed.

Made the coaches job a lot easier with the influx of unexpected or anticipated talent.

The other teams rose on the coat tails of RGIII and the football program.

Good for Baylor.

Art Briles is the man. He won big at Houston, and is now winning big at Baylor. The right coach wins big anywhere. Briles with a good QB Keenum, RG3, and now Petty, equals big time winning.

If you're an offensive skill player, why wouldn't you want to go play in that system?
