Change their name to Ohio St.Wonder what Cincy has to do to get a shot…
If they go undefeated they’ll have a win over ND which will greatly enhance the resume.Wonder what Cincy has to do to get a shot…
They'd have to go 13-0 with all comfortable wins. And Notre Dame would need to go 11-1 with their only loss being to Cincy. They would also need all p5 teams to have at least one loss, and two losses when it comes to the SEC.Wonder what Cincy has to do to get a shot…
Notre Dame has not passed the eye test yet IMO. But regardless, I have this feeling that even if what you say above happens and the final spot is between ND and Cincy, it goes to ND. Would love to be wrong about that, but it seems to be how the CFP committee wants to choose their teams. They'd have to go 13-0 with all comfortable wins. There would be an absolute mutiny if Cincy goes undefeated with a win AT Notre Dame and Notre Dame got in the playoff over them.Notre Dame has not passed the eye test yet IMO. That would really expose the hypocrisy of the CFP. Also goes to show how hard it is to keep a football program consistently at the top. There would be an absolute mutiny if Cincy goes undefeated with a win AT Notre Dame and Notre Dame got in the playoff over them.
But the real question is, would the CFP even care if Cincy is mad at them? There would be an absolute mutiny if Cincy goes undefeated with a win AT Notre Dame and Notre Dame got in the playoff over them.
You’d also have the AAC and the Big12 mad at them. But the real question is, would the CFP even care if Cincy is mad at them?
Get ready for that to happen but I think ND will slip a few times and it may be a mute pointThere would be an absolute mutiny if Cincy goes undefeated with a win AT Notre Dame and Notre Dame got in the playoff over them.
You'd hear how UC doesn't play as tough a schedule so they weren't as beat up as ND, blah , blah, blah.........Notre Dame has not passed the eye test yet IMO. With Penn St, Iowa, Ohio St, Michigan, I'm sure the BiG will get one team in.Cincy needs to beat ND and beat them handedly. Only then will they be considered, albeit briefly, for the playoffs. But if the B1G AND the ACC are left out this year, then you best believe those 2 conferences are going to pull some weight and get the playoffs expanded.
No problem. ND is out after today.I just hope Notre Dame or Ohio State doesn't get matched up against Alabama in a playoff game.
Oklahoma will lose a game before the CFP. They have not looked impressive at all this season.5 teams ahead of Cinc
