OT - Are Baseball fans that math challenged?

Just looking over the box score of tonight's game. Sox closer - 1.1 innings. Another relief guy - .2 inning

What the hell is a tenth of an inning? Seriously. Is it that difficult to write 1 1/3 or 1.33 or something like that.

This has been bugging me for a long time. Rant over. Time for a vacation

Actually very high level base three number system. A step higher than binary and only used for baseball.
