I saw that. There's a reason that his draft stock slipped so far. He's got a bad back. The docs knew it. As soon as I saw it I thought of a post that was recently put up here on the board:
Well Jerry, they may well be morons, regardless of opinions of draftees, but I'll tell you one thing for sure - they are laughing their asses off right now and wearing a faced grin.

I think he was a good value pick when they pulled the trigger on him. With Rondo gone and the outlook for this season not so good, they might as well see if they can fix whatever is wrong with his back. Hopefully this won't be a chronic problem and that he can have a solid career. He's had some very good games and if relatively healthy, he can be a very good player.

I just said a few days ago on this site that if I was Boston I would have drafted Perry JonesIII over Jared Sullinger! The back issues he has had was a red flag during the draft this past year. This injury is only going to make him less mobile/athletic and most likely out of shape,And that's the worst thing that could happen to a player who wasn't ever athletic and could balloon weight on like nothing.This could really hurt his future. If this week couldn't get any worse for the C's.
