OT: Alex Zanardi

Anyone see the Alex Zanardi story. Survived one of the most horrific car racing accidents I've ever seen. He just won a gold medal in hand-cycling at the Rio Paralympics. This picture gets to me.

Yeah, I saw this too...He's a regular Ironman Triathlon participant too. God bless him.

They did a Real Sports segment on him, post-recovery. He was doing flips off a rope into the water from his boat. Dude loves life.

He also won 2 gold medals and a silver in the Rio Paralympics. I'm a huge racing fan and he's always been one of my favorite drivers since he came to CART in the late 90's. Had a chance to meet him at a race in the UK in 2014 and he's just an exceptional human being.

Yup. I have his book. I was a big CART fan. He survived a nightmare crash.

He once pulled off a crazy pass at Laguna Seca. Of course that move was made illegal the next season.
