Albertus Magnus to introduce Kyle Wallack as hockey coach

>>Kyle Wallack, the associate head coach at Vermont, will be announced at a Monday press conference at Albertus’ Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center, a source confirmed to Hearst Connecticut Media.

Wallack, 42, is considered one of the top assistant coaches in Division I. Strong ties to the area helped lure him back home.

He grew up in West Hartford and played goalie at Springfield College; his wife, Lauren, is from Guilford. Wallack has previously served as an assistant coach at UConn, Quinnipiac and Yale before heading to Vermont in 2012.<<
