With the Army-Navy game now on, many viewers will notice service men/women (and even a few players) wearing the US flag on their right sleeve in a manner that makes it appear backwards, since the field of stars is on the right, not the traditional left.

There is a reason for this.

The flag should appear as it would if being carried by, as if in a review.

(I'll save discussion about the difference between a parade and a review for another day.)

Let's go Navy, beat Army.

Interesting uniforms. I haven't seen these before. Maybe I've missed something.

Good game. Army played their hearts out. It's a shame to lose a game on a fumble at the 10 with a minute left...

Eh, can anyone remember the last time Army won? They've become just another cupcake on the Navy schedule. :p

A good game though.

The Naval Academy has had a better football team than the Military Academy in recent years, but there are no cupcakes in the US Army

That was the 11th straight win for Navy...
