Even if it doesn't help the team, isn't it the right thing to do just from a humanity viewpoint. Be positive to a fault. Everyone can contribute at least something. That doesn't mean if Geno says something nice about you, you warrant starting. He can choose to not even start his best 5 if he feels it helps the team overall, which has probably been his approach recently.
