Scholarships have increased. Great players and deep benches everywhere. But what hasn’t changed is the coach’s philosophy. He hasn’t adjusted to the new paradigm. Parity means that the team who wins the 4th quarter, wins the game. The coaches who used their bench liberally for the first 3 quarters will see their teams move up to another gear in the 4th. The coaches who kept their starters in without much rest will see their teams a step slower. What worked in the past was due to superiority of talent. Those days are gone. Change or fail. [/QUOTE]
