I'm wondering if Oregon State peaked mid season?

I've seen them play several times and to me the latter half of the season they don't look as good as they did at the start of the PAC12 season.

Yeah. I saw them in the PAC 12 tourney and couldn't believe they won the league.

Gonzaga looks like the better team in this matchup.

OSU only loses one senior so they should improve if they lose this one

How did Oregon State only lose 4 games this year and only two in the PAC12 Regular Season? They look SLOW and lack a PG to run their offense.

Meanwhile Gonzaga probably the less talented team is fundamentally sound on offense and defense. Will they be able hold on or will they run out of gas.

It would not be pretty for either of these teams if they had to face ND or UConn's Transition Offense. Talk about a Layup Drill. :)

Could Gonzaga beat Tennessee?

I'm sure the Lady Vol fans are holding their breath for a Zag win.

Not sure why. Gonzaga was clearly the better team and will be playing at home. Oregon State has zero athleticism. They literally were not athletic or quick enough to do anything those final minutes. Gonzaga, whose not exactly very athletic themselves, got every rebound and loose ball.

I had Oregon State winning this game. In my bracket.

Gonzaga was really good when 'Sloot played there, but they have been well coached for a decade or more. Though they were playing at OSU, they had the incentive of getting back home for the Regionals.

Who says Lady Vols gets past a Power ACC Team Pitt? :)

It is possible.

Caught a shot of Caroline Doty in the stands at the end of this game. She was sitting behind the Gonzaga bench across the aisle from Tinkle's father.

I have loved watching Gonzaga play for a very long time becuase of their play. Great to see them have success even without Graves on the bench. Hopefully this helps sustain the program's success even with greater competition from the Northwest PAC-12 teams.

Tinkle's father, AKA Wayne Tinkle, Oregon St men's basketball coach, father also of Joslyn (Stanford) and incoming OSU freshman Tres (as in the third child).
