Tied at 15 after Q1. Big surprise, looks like another grinder.

edit--looks like it's been changed to 17-15 OSU

Pivec and Jones have 12 and 10, Pili has 11 for USC.

Are the Oregon State fans watching this game?

USC really giving them the bizness, up 49-45 late in 3Q.
Pili is turning into a true terror. She has 19 on 9-12 FG.

USC leads by 8 with about 4 minutes to go.

We'll see if they can hold up down the stretch.

Hard to watch both the Duck and Beavers at the same time. 2 TVs. Don't like what I see with the Beavers, but they are coming back. Pili has been awesome, 21 points, 10 rebounds.

Looks like a loss despite getting it down to 2. The Beavers are sure missing Brown.

Wonder if Oregon State even hosts the first weekend at the rate they're playing. The road left ain't easy either with UCLA and Stanford on the road.

They are going to have to beat one of two....bad loss.

Wow. Alissa Pili was just a monster in this game. 26 points and 13 rebounds. Making her case for P12 FOY over Jones with this performance.

This loss might drop them to a 4 seed but not out of hosting. Losing to UCLA and Stanford probably won't drop them either. But they probably can't afford another loss to the bottom half of the conference.

I hope you are right. I like going to regionals in Corvallis.

And with this huge win, we have to start thinking about the possibility of USC being on the bubble.

RPI is #67 and they have two great wins over UCLA and Oregon State. If they can win at least 4 more games, get to 17-13 and they might be in.

They could do it. After losing to Oregon Sunday the Trojans go on the road to the Washington schools then end at home with Colorado and Utah. In the first round of the tournament they could face one of those four again.

7th PAC team dancing?

They're certainly in a better position than Colorado, who has a similar RPI but zero quality wins.

Trojans are playing well. They don't even resemble the team that started 0-5 in Pac-12 play.

ASU can attest to that....the Devils were fortunate to beat the Trojans at home in triple OT as Rogers and Pili put on a show. The Trojans effort and energy on defense was impressive, as the Beavers just experienced.

They have lots of new players and their top two scorers are Freshman, which should also be a consideration if they win out, plus win their first PAC12 Tourney game. I'd love to see them make the tourney.

Having new players or freshmen is not a consideration in tourney selection.
