Jim Delany takes the football crew on a tour of The Big10 NYC offices.

Wilson: No, I mean, you make a big deal about the Big Ten being contiguous and all, and then you open an office where we don’t have any teams. Sup with that?

Good question... :p

Man, this is funny. I lost some pizza from my mouth when I stumbled upon this...

Julie Hermann: No, he was fired because those kids were wimpy-ass pansies. Just like you, Flood. Also your children are dumb. And I kinda hope bad things happen to your pets.

Meyer: this guy is worsethanhaving Maryland around.

Randy Edsall: C’mon, man, I’m right here.

That myth of Rutgers inventing football in 1869 must be demolished.

I think the '69 RU team could take this years' RU version. Sell what you got.

1-1 National Champs. Woo hoo!

"The Princeton/Rutgers game was undoubtedly different from what we today know as American football, as there was no running with the ball, each team included 25 players, and the ball was perfectly spherical."

And the rules changed from game to game. But was it a game of 'football' between colleges before any other schools did anything like that?

Perhaps.

Razzing you a bit. It is cool to be able to lay claim to that, even if it is barely football. Also, the "National Champion" thing is funny, when only two teams play and they both get to claim it.

It's all that we have. That and a bunch of conference titles in baseball. BUT NO ONE CARES ABOUT BASEBALL.

Hell I didn't even know we were decent in baseball until recently, that is how little we care about showcasing our accomplishments.

I will defend the honor of that title until I die.
But...it's imaginary. McGill vs Harvard in 1874 introduced the oblong ball. Before that, Princeton was playing soccer.

Doesn't stop the religious.

I kid!
Sadly, that's true. Our baseball programs could use more support. Having our teams be their biggest fans is kind of embarrassing.

Yeah UConn just recently won a BE baseball title right?

It's crazy, baseball was THE sport growing up in Bristol. No one cares about college baseball though, so it's tough. But if you're half decent at it the school should hype it up. Hoping the BTN helps here, having an actual TV outlet for the games.
