Cool idea but no notice especially this time of year. Especially at the Rent, it's an opportunity for our detractors to post a pic and say "look 60 people showed up to a UConn open practice. "

Would prefer the open practice in Storrs. It was great to wish the players well as they walked back to Shenkman. I will always remember Ryan Wirth thanking us for going to the practice and knowing his name.

Being on campus also means a trip to the Coop and the Dairy Bar.

If this is a replacement for last summer's season ticket holder barbecue, I'm not impressed. And it's during one of the big track and field days during the Olympics.

Psyched to head to the Rent to watch the open practice on Saturday....except for one thing. The UConn press release says seating will be in sections 120-133 --lower bowl, sunny side. In 97 degree sunshine. Really? Anybody here think we'll be able to migrate to the shady side? Confirm with UConn? At the spring games we've always been able to sit where you like.

There's usually a good breeze on the shaded concourse.

The good news is that as fans we won't be wearing polyester and sporting pads in the mid-day sun...hope they let the team wear white jersies.

Gatorade for all, tailgaters take it easy with the beers...medics are standing by.

They are going to have to call an audible right? No one will want to sit in the sun.
