Meaningful football in November. It's something that's been lacking in East Hartford for a couple of years. Glad to have it back.
The Pups have an attainable goal-bowl eligibility. The atmosphere compares to the FHCRE led team finished out the season with the road win against Iowa State to go 6-6. That team proved that UConn football had arrived.
I'm getting psyched. Want to see a UCONN football win on Senior Day.
GO HUSKIES!

I agree. I get the sense that the fans who do show up know the importance of this game and will bring it. I had hoped for a near sellout but that's not going to happen. But like you said, the fans that do show up are going to be ready to go and will do our part to help the team.

I made a pledge earlier this year to stay out of the prediction game and I've kept it. Makes watching a game unfold much more pleasant since I'm not comparing the game being played against the notional game I've already planned out.

That being said, I was talking with my dad this morning while I was driving in to work (hands free blue tooth for safety) and told him I wouldn't be surprised if this game were still competitive in the 4th qtr. Sun going down by the end of the first quarter, temps dropping, wind picking up.

I'd like to see the seniors playing their last home game to be playing 4 quarters of meaningful football.

Color me happy.

Injuries affected both teams, Houston was clearly out of the their element in the weather and the fans were great.

Very happy for the seniors to go out on a high note.
