OOC's against P5 teams are all that matters.

The only positive news today was UConn baseball beating Michigan State. Don't give a darn that they also beat Furman and Upstate South Carolina. The only games that matter for UConn (or any of the AAC teams) are those against P5 teams or other name teams like BYU and Boise State in football.

UConn hoops needed to beat Texas (finish the deal, you had 'em). They needed to beat Stanford and West Virginia and Duke. Those are the games that matter in this day and age. That's the only way into the ACC.

Yale is neither here nor there. Yale was somebody UConn had to beat in the '60's. Now they are irrelevant. But Texas, Stanford, Duke and West Virginia (good thing they recovered to beat Florida) these are the teams that matter. Not Yale but the P5 conference teams.

Agree entirely. But point is, UConn needs to beat P5 teams every chance it gets in ALL sports.
